Couture 2026

Couture (2026) is a French-American drama film directed and written by Alice Winocour, starring Angelina Jolie, Louis Garrel, Ella Rumpf, Anyier Anei, and Garance Marillier. Produced collaboratively between French and U.S. film companies, the movie blends English and French dialogue and is set against the backdrop of Paris Fashion Week, where glamour, ambition, and personal struggles collide.

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025 and is scheduled for theatrical release in France on 18 February 2026.

Couture follows three women whose lives intersect in the high-pressure world of Paris Fashion Week. Maxine Walker (Angelina Jolie), an American filmmaker in her forties, arrives in Paris with professional ambitions but is confronted with personal upheaval when she receives a life-altering diagnosis.

Ada (Anyier Anei), a young model from South Sudan who escapes a predetermined future and navigates the unforgiving fashion industry while seeking her own path. Angèle (Ella Rumpf), a French makeup artist working behind the scenes of the fashion world, dreaming of a life beyond the shadows of the runway.
