
Bearcave (Arkoudotrypa) is a Greek adventure-romance film directed by Stergios Dinopoulos and Krysianna B. Papadakis. Argyro has long hidden her feelings for her best friend Anneta. When Anneta reveals that she is pregnant and plans to leave the village with her policeman boyfriend, Argyro persuades her to join one final adventure to find the mythical Bear Cave. Before Argyro can confess her feelings, Anneta leaves for her new life in the city. Separated by distance and personal obligations, both women begin to question where they truly belong and whether the mysterious cave represents something more than a local legend.
Bearcave is written and directed by Stergios Dinopoulos and Krysianna B. Papadakis. The film was produced by Pame Ligo Collective and Pucci Productions, with additional producers including Emily Sky Hickin, Thanasis Michalopoulos, Arsinoi Pilou, and Ishan Sanjay Deshpande. Arsinoi Pilou served as cinematographer, John Tournas composed the music, and editing was handled by Vagelis Katsaros alongside the directors. The film was shot in Greece and premiered at the 2025 Giornate degli Autori section of the Venice Film Festival, where it received the Europa Cinemas Label before its wider release in 2026.
