Dracula in Space is a 2026 British sci-fi horror film directed by Gregory William Randolph Jr. and written by C.M. Wright. The film reimagines Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire in a futuristic setting, moving the action from gothic castles to deep space. Starring Charlotte Reidie, Felipe Chavez, Dominik Krajny, and Marcus Massey as Dracula, the movie follows a spacecraft crew that unknowingly awakens the infamous vampire after discovering a mysterious sarcophagus aboard an abandoned vessel. The film premiered at the Romford Horror Film Festival on February 21, 2026.
While investigating a derelict spacecraft near a black hole, the crew of the space vessel Orpheus discovers an ancient sarcophagus hidden aboard the abandoned ship. Believing it to be a valuable historical artifact, they transport it onto their vessel for further study.
Their mission soon turns into a nightmare when crew members begin disappearing under mysterious circumstances. The sarcophagus contains Dracula, who has been trapped in space for centuries. As fear spreads through the ship, the survivors must fight against the legendary vampire before they become his next victims. Isolated millions of miles from Earth, escape is no longer an option.
Dracula in Space was produced by Louisa Warren for ChampDog Films. Gregory William Randolph Jr. directed the project from a screenplay by C.M. Wright. Nikhil Ranade served as cinematographer, while Harpreet Singh handled editing duties.
The film takes inspiration from classic Dracula mythology while placing the story in a science-fiction setting. Instead of haunted mansions and Transylvanian landscapes, the action unfolds aboard spacecraft and abandoned vessels drifting through deep space. The movie embraces the style of low-budget independent horror cinema, combining vampire lore with space survival themes.
