The Last Sunrise (2026) Storyline

Oriah “Ry” Pera has spent much of her life living with a chronic health condition that has shaped every decision she makes. Overprotected by her mother and uncertain about what the future holds, Ry feels as though life is passing her by.

Everything changes when her mother’s new job takes them to Mallorca for the summer. Away from the routines and limitations of home, Ry meets Julián, a charismatic local who encourages her to embrace experiences she has always been afraid to pursue. As their friendship grows into romance, Ry begins to see the world—and herself—from a new perspective.

However, with the end of summer approaching and difficult family secrets coming to light, Ry must decide whether to return to the life she has always known or take a chance on the future she truly wants. The film explores themes of first love, personal growth, family relationships, and learning to live in the present.
