Synopsis

Voicemails for Isabelle is an American romantic comedy-drama written and directed by Leah McKendrick and released on Netflix on June 19, 2026. The film stars Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson, alongside Nick Offerman, Lukas Gage, Harry Shum Jr., and Ciara Bravo. Storyline

Production Details

The film is written and directed by Leah McKendrick and produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, and Becky Sanderman. The project was originally announced in 2019 with a different creative team before being redeveloped by Netflix. Principal photography began in Vancouver, Canada, in July 2025. McKendrick has described the film as a story about both romantic love and sisterhood, drawing inspiration from her own relationship with her sister. The score was composed by Este Haim and Amanda Yamate, with cinematography by Julia Swain and editing by Ryan C. Fill and Lee Haxall.
