Osiris is a sci-fi film that explores themes of history and culture through an ancient belief system, set against the backdrop of technology and a futuristic civilisation, to create conflict driven by human desire. Unlike other films that take advantage of mythology as a form of symbolism, this film uses mythology to examine the power of rebirth and of being God’s representative through the lens of technological advancement.
