On a peaceful farm in the English countryside, shepherd George Hardy (Hugh Jackman) lovingly reads classic detective novels to his flock of sheep every night unaware that his woolly companions may actually be listening and understanding every word. That curious premise turns grim when George is found dead under mysterious circumstances.

Refusing to accept that his death was an accident, the sheep band together and set out to solve the mystery of their beloved shepherd’s demise. Using instincts sharpened by the detective stories they’ve absorbed, they embark on an adventure into the human world seeking clues, interrogating suspects, and piecing together the truth proving that even a flock of sheep can be clever crime-solvers when pushed to the challenge.
