ZombEid is a Pakistani action-horror thriller directed by Nabeel Qureshi and released on May 27, 2026, during Eid-ul-Adha. Starring Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and Babar Ali, the film is widely promoted as Pakistan’s first mainstream zombie thriller. Zombeid 2026 Storyline

On Chand Raat, a mysterious virus breaks out inside an upscale fitness club in Karachi, transforming people into flesh-eating zombies. With the infected drawn to noise and panic spreading across the city, a fitness trainer and a Zumba instructor find themselves trapped inside the building alongside other survivors. As the outbreak worsens, the group must fight to stay alive, protect their loved ones, and stop the infection from spreading further.

Production Details

ZombEid is directed by Nabeel Qureshi and written by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza, who also produced the film alongside Mehdi Ali under the Filmwala Pictures banner. Rana Kamran handled the cinematography, while Shani Arshad composed the music. The project represents a major genre shift for Pakistani cinema, moving away from traditional romantic comedies and family dramas to deliver a large-scale zombie survival film with action, horror, practical effects, and visual effects-driven sequences. It is the fourth collaboration between Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and director Nabeel Qureshi after Na Maloom Afraad, Actor in Law, and Load Wedding.
